Hello! My name is Sara Earnest, and I'm a senior from College Park, MD, majoring in physics. My research interests are numerical relativity/strong gravity, gravitational waves, and black holes. I have also done research in dark matter searches. I am the vice president of SPS, and I'm involved in keeping track of event budgeting and helping run meetings. Hi, my name is Ashley, and I am a third year student from Lawton, Oklahoma majoring in physics. My research interest is in solid state physics. I currently work with Professor Chia Ling Chien. I am the secretary for SPS, so I am responsible for attendance, and the end of year chapter report. I also am in charge of overseeing the volunteering program with Western High School.

Hi! I’m Govardhan, a senior from Plano, TX majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. I’m interested in the intersection of medical imaging and condensed matter physics. Hi, my name is Mateusz and I am a 3rd year international student from Poland majoring in physics and mathematics. My research interests include soft matter, biological and statistical physics. I serve as the reading program director for SPS, which means I am responsible for overseeing the directed reading groups. I also help in setting up review sessions for courses, and organize the reading program showcase.

Hello, I'm Dennis, I'm a senior majoring in physics, CS, and mathematics. My research interests are in experimental high energy physics, working on novel analyses for the CMS experiment. I, with Mateusz, am reading program director.

Hi! I'm Mila, and I'm a sophomore majoring in physics (and maybe film). I serve on the board as the Women in Physics Chair and the SPS representative to the biweekly meetings for the department's Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.
